We are seeking stand-out college students to join our ranks as Winter / Spring 2024 interns. Candidates will work as an integrated part of our client teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience with all aspects of agency life. Looking for excellent communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and a “can-do” mentality!

Responsibilities

Sharp Think interns have the chance to gain hands-on industry experience through a wide range of projects and will learn how to think strategically about using communications channels to support marketing goals, how to measure and track activities, and how to best engage key audiences. We are looking for PR, Digital and blended roles across both practices.

Public Relations Interns: 

  • Build media lists and editorial calendars
  • Research influencers and support agency engagement
  • Develop creative pitch concepts
  • Monitor and support social media community management 
  • Facilitate mailers 
  • Support client monitoring and reporting

Digital Interns: 

  • Compile digital/industry trends
  • Brainstorm and develop creative pitches to engage with influencers
  • Research and identify digital influencers to support client campaigns
  • Support social media content calendar development (FB/IG/TT)
  • Monitor and support community management of agency/client channels
  • Monitor and track for influencer coverage
  • Generate analytic reports to measure campaigns and inform social strategy

Qualifications

The ideal intern for Sharp Think is a self-motivated, creative, organized individual with a great interest in public relations. Applicants must be recent graduates or a current undergrad/graduate student with a focus on PR, communications or other relevant fields. Previous PR internship experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements: 

  • Full time paid internship
  • NYC-area candidates are preferred but not required
  • Start date: rolling
