Ed McCarthy – Account Manager
The Replacements Pleased to Meet Me, Wilco Summer Teeth, Phish Farmhouse
Ednormous, Mr. Ed, Big Ed, it goes on and on, the names for our big guy. At 6’4" and
250 lbs., one of his pastimes is “ducking” (no, not hunting) – avoiding cracking his skull
in the subways and taverns. Yeah, Ed is big, which means people don’t mess with
him, which is a good quality to have in an Account Manager. Put it this way: he wears
a Red Sox cap to Yankees games…no problemo. Ed takes care of the day-to-day,
week-to-week…for our Advertising, Online, Design and Media businesses, keeping
everyone in line with that “gentle giant” demeanor. Ed came to us from G2
(Grey Direct) and Ogilvy & Mather, so he’s a pure breed ad man with a critical
complement of online experience that you have to have today. So if you find yourself
building a Web site, producing global advertising, developing a display campaign, etc.,
chances are Ed will be your man. Just don’t mess with him. I told you so. |
