At the end of the day, Jim Brodsky created one of the fastest-growing boutique
agencies in the country. Wherein lies the inspiration and drive — a chance meeting
with his business partner in 2001, his mother’s maiden name, the desire to do it
my way? Pure and simple, Jim is Sharp and Sharp is Jim.
Jim got his start out of Brown University at Saatchi & Saatchi (where he met Bob)
working on Johnson & Johnson. Jim moved over to Bates to further fine-tune his
healthcare experience and then jumped the fence to the PR side working for Superior
Healthcare Group, Inc. (Kendall Corp.). Tiring of the healthcare world, Jim followed his
nose to the affluent marketplace to work with esteemed brands like OMO Norma Kamali
and Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni.
Jim started Sharp in 2001 out of his apartment in a bathrobe and literally walked down
the street (not in the robe) knocking on doors for business. It worked (he is persuasive),
and before long he was renting office space and hiring staff. The Client base represents
his knowledge and expertise in reaching affluent audiences. Jim is recognized for his
in-depth understanding of how to promote brands within the luxury marketplace and is
