Maria Corredor – Senior Account Executive
Pet Shop Boys Discography, Carlos Vives El Amor de Mi Tierra, Bob Marley Exodus
Maria says that people call her “cheeky.” We are not arguing, and hey, when it comes
to press, she gets it done in several tongues. Yes, Maria is fluent in English and Spanish
and hails from Bogota, Colombia. She loves politics – in fact she studied Middle Eastern
politics thinking she was going to be a lawyer, work in policy and bring peace to the
Middle East (wasn’t that Jimmy Carter?).
Her responsibilities at Sharp include managing PR accounts for The Society for Memorial
Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, City Parks Foundation, Sportime Tennis Center, Grey Ledge
Farms and bringing the international voice to Cosentino. Maria loves to travel to “random”
places, and when not doing that, she volunteers for Free Arts NYC, teaching aspiring young
artists the finer points on color and balance. Like any good global citizen, she harbors a true
love for football (“the only football there is, is what some call 'soccer'), camels (not the butts)
and bubbly. Picture this if you will - woman on a camel, drinking champagne, talking football;
now that is cheeky. |
