In Spring 2024, Arteriors, a leading provider of luxury lighting, furniture, wall décor, and accessories, embarked on a historic milestone with the launch of the brand’s inaugural Outdoor Collection. Recognizing the significance of this category expansion, Arteriors tasked Sharp to generate coverage, specifically targeting Spring/Summer print issues timed with the collection launch in March 2024.

Our Solution

Understanding that securing coverage in spring and summer issues highlighting the outdoor category is notoriously competitive, Sharp developed a strategic long-lead approach, leveraging personal connections and in-person opportunities, in order to make a strong editorial splash.
Fall 2023 High Point Market – a tentpole moment in the A&D industry – provided a perfect platform to kick off our work. We leveraged one-on-one media tours for the brand’s Fall Collection to give select top-tier editors a sneak-peek at the Outdoor Collection – building instant buzz and allowing us to quickly gauge interest for upcoming Spring issues far before editorial was underway. On-site, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Veranda, and Luxe Interiors + Design all expressed interest in covering the news.
The following months leading up to the March 2024 launch were pivotal in converting the preliminary interest into coverage. Using smart research and embargoed outreach across different verticals, we nurtured relationships with key media outlets while positioning Arteriors for optimal attention.

The REsults

Come Spring, our long-lead approach resulted in placements in three top-tier shelter print outlets – Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and House Beautiful – all hitting newsstands within a week of the Outdoor Collection’s official launch to the marketplace and establishing Arteriors as a formidable presence in the outdoor furnishings market. The coverage went on to include additional prominent digital placements in shelter, lifestyle, regionals and trade media, effectively blanketing the market during this major moment.
