HI-CHEW and Sloomoo Institute Launch a Flavorful Collaboration

HI-CHEW, the fruity, chewy candy, has amassed a dedicated fanbase over the years. In our 6th year of partnership, Sharp was tasked with continuing to increase the brand’s visibility amongst Gen Z and Millennial audiences, and creating new ways for fans to interact with HI-CHEW.

Our Solution

Sharp worked closely with Sloomoo, the immersive slime museum, to develop a multifaceted partnership that reimagined HI-CHEW’s flavors and engaged visitors in a sensory experience. The components included four new HI-CHEW-inspired slime scents – each launching exclusively in a unique target market - Strawberry Ice Cream (New York), Tropical Pineapple (Chicago), Peach Infrusions (Atlanta), and Sweet & Sour Watermelon (Houston) – as well as sensory experiences allowing visitors to play with the HI-CHEW slimes or create their own at the DIY bar with custom HI-CHEW scents.
We supported the partnership with a press launch across trade and consumer outlets. On day one, the slimes sold out on Sloomoo’s website and have continued to fly off the shelves.
We also invited influencers in each market to visit their local Sloomoo Institute to experience the partnership for themselves. The content brought the fun to life on TikTok and Instagram and drove widespread attention.

The REsults

The collaboration introduced HI-CHEW to new fans of all ages in a fun, unique and sensory-filled way - with custom slime flavors and HI-CHEW candy flying off the shelves, and thousands of smiling faces across all markets.
