Global kitchen & bath leader Kohler Co. decided to expanded into the wellness space with the launch of Sprig – a new brand with the mission to elevate and transform daily routines into a serene self-care ritual. They turned to Sharp to introduce this new brand to top-tier lifestyle and wellness media.

Our Solution

To celebrate the highly-anticipated launch of a first of its kind shower infusion device, Sharp developed, produced and executed an intimate sit-down dinner to immerse VIP media in an experience that was personal and educational. We created a venue filled with lush greenery, paired with a food and beverage program inspired by the brand’s essential blend scents.
Sharp secured attendance from top-tier editors from prominent publications including AD Pro, Allure, GOOP, Harper’s Bazaar, Real Simple, Well + Good, and more. Each editor received Sprig products to try at home.
From there, we executed a widespread media blitz – celebrating the brand’s mission, ethos and unique product lineup. Resulting coverage included features in Well + Good, Women’s Wear Daily, Domino, Apartment Therapy, Conde Nast Traveler, ELLE Decor and more.
Following the event, we sustained interest through product awards, seasonal outreach and gift guide pitching, securing a coveted spot on the Today Show’s last minute gifts roundup - Al Roker is a fan!

The REsults

Sharp secured over 90+ pieces of coverage in the first 6 months of engagement. Much of the coverage was in “new to Kohler” publications, successfully extending the brand into the world of beauty and personal care. The Today Show feature resulted in the brand’s single-highest sales day yet!
