During High Point Market, Sherwin-Williams engaged Sharp to elevate their showroom presence by creating a “wow-worthy event” to build new designer relationships in a unique and memorable way. Sharp crafted a strategy to cultivate relationships between the designers and the Sherwin-Williams sales team to support business into 2025 and beyond.

We developed an intimate cocktail and seated dinner event that consisted of two key components:

  1. We aligned with House Beautiful and Carisha Swanson to invite more than 25 of the industry’s top designers to participate with us
  2. We created numerous pre/on-site/post event experiences to engage our guests and connect with Sherwin-Williams in unexpected ways.

Upon arrival at High Point Market, each guest received a surprise gift box delivered to their hotel room filled with colorful items aligned to the Sherwin-Williams 2025 color palette. Each box included:

We led the event with a cocktail hour, in which we created the first ever “Sherwin-Williams Custom Fragrance Bar.” Each guest designer created their own custom fragrances inspired by Sherwin-Williams 2025 ColorMix palettes. The designers selected their personal combination of top notes to create a completely unique keepsake gift.

The cocktail hour featured lots of mixing, mingling and connecting designers with Sherwin-Williams and House Beautiful. Custom cocktails were inspired by two colors in the 2025 ColorMix Capsules, Euphoric Lilac (Lavender French 75) and Rejuvenate (Blood Orange Paloma).

After cocktails, guests were welcomed into an indoor private dining room for a beautiful dinner experience. The evening provided an opportunity for Sue Wadden, color expert at Sherwin-Williams, to present remarks and establish herself as the thought leader in the industry. Tabletop designs were inspired by the Sherwin-Williams Chrysalis palette, and no detail was overlooked. Each Sherwin-Williams’ sales representative was seated next to 2-3 designers to help build new relationships with “the industry’s best.”
