For the past 7 editions, Sharp has executed a U.S. press trip to TEFAF Maastricht - the world's preeminent fine art, antiquities, and design fair - produced by The European Fine Art Foundation. By offering a true immersion into Dutch arts & culture, the TEFAF Maastricht press trip has gained a coveted reputation amongst arts, culture and jewelry media. As we approached the latest edition of the press trip, we sought to bring new voices as well as treasured press trip alumni to The Netherlands, expanding this year to include editors in the home & design, lifestyle and travel spaces. With 13 leading editors, including eight first-time attendees, the 2024 group included media from outlets including Artnet, ARTnews, Forbes, Galerie, LUXE Interiors + Design, Robb Report, Thrillist, Wallpaper* and World of Interiors.

Journalists spent two days at TEFAF Maastricht, attended a global media dinner hosted by the Maastricht’s Mayor in City Hall and explored Amsterdam with a cultural extension in partnership with Hotel L'Europe, Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum. These VIP experiences added dimension to the press trip for both new and returning media, and generated new coverage opportunities aligned with the fair’s key messages and exhibitor highlights.

The press trip generated 16 press placements, resulting in 591,758,512 impressions—with more stories to be published in the lead up to the 2025 fair. Through the full media campaign for the TEFAF Maastricht, Sharp secured a total of 44 press placements, which generated nearly 1 billion impressions.
