Sharp has a lot to be proud of this past year, and the agency is being recognized for its accomplishments. For the third consecutive year, Sharp has made Observer’s prestigious list of “The Most Powerful PR Firms of 2018,” settling in at an impressive spot at #18 among the 50 best PR firms in the U.S. Additionally, Sharp has been listed as the #1 firm on Observer’s list of “The Most Powerful Art and Design PR Firms of 2018.”
As stated in the intro of Observer’s “The Most Powerful Art and Design PR Firms of 2018″ article, “While Sharp Communications is a generalist firm, its longtime relationship with art fairs like TEFAF and clients like Kohler made it a natural for this category.”
Under the direction of founder James Brodsky since 2000, Sharp’s best-in-class client list continues to grow in size and scope. A one-stop shop for all things PR, clients are in good hands with Sharp offering services from experienced departments specializing in public relations, social media, and events, and we were thrilled to add a few notable new names to our roster this year. Just a sampling of the work that contributed to this year’s attention, include:
- Lyft, the popular ridesharing service, has retained Sharp for PR services in support of both its New York and New Jersey regions. The agency is tasked with driving local attention for key brand initiatives and developing unique, creative activations that tap into the regional mindset.
- Related Companies engaged the team in Sharp Florida to take over local media relations in support of its local flagship CityPlace property, as the entertainment and shopping district is reimagined with a focus on arts and culture, elevated culinary, hospitality and community events.
- The United States Tennis Association (USTA) enlisted Sharp to promote community tennis offerings, including the newly launched Net Generation youth program, and build interest and attendance at its National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- Prudential Financial teamed up with Sharp for PR, influencer relations, and spokespeople development in conjunction with the company’s recent “The State of US” advertising campaign launch and its expansion into consumer lifestyle communications.
2018 was a stellar year, and there are more big things to come in 2019. Read the full Observer articles detailing Sharp’s honors:
